8. - How much does a virtual assistant charge?


Virtual assistants charge on an hourly basis for services which generally range from £18 to £25. Prices will vary depending on the length of the project, the skills and technology required. 9. - How exactly does your service work?

From initial contact the client explains their project and timescale. From here an estimate is established complete with hourly rate, before work commences. The client agrees to outsource their project and signs a booking form for confirmation. The client provides their virtual assistant with any materials or information required to complete the task. This will be sent by email, fax, post, mail or courier. Your virtual assistant will then complete your work within the allotted time scale. The work is then returned using email, fax, post or courier. The client then has 48 hours to check for any errors. 10. - How do we communicate?


Communication between virtual assistant and client is achieved through email, phone, fax, instant message, FTP transfer, etc. Virtual assistant use the latest technology to communicate with their clients. This means that your virtual assistant does not need to be local, they can be located anywhere in the world.

11. - How do you receive work?

Work is received by email, fax, post, courier service, FTP transfer, remote access, instant message, etc. All technological methods are used to receive and send work. The client can choose which method they would like to communicate work with their virtual assistant. 12. - What training and education do you have?

My education consists of two bachelor degrees, BA (hons) Business Studies and BSc (Hons) Internet Computing. Both degrees are a significant foundation for providing a high quality virtual assistance service. I have the business skills to understand and support your company. Along with advanced computing skills, specialising in internet technologies.

13. - Do you work with local or international clients?

I work with both local and international clients. Presently, i am providing on-going business support for clients based in the UK and Phuket, Thailand. 14. - When are you available to work?

I am very flexible with my working hours. I am able to work outside of office hours and at weekends, as required by the client. Please note: Work completed between the hours of 7pm and 8.30am will be subject to an added charge of 25%. Work completed at weekends will attract an added charge of 50%.


15. - What if I have an emergency deadline?


If you have an emergency deadline, I will be able to complete the task immediately. Although it may be subject to a slight sub charge. I am flexible with my working hours, I will be able to work out of normal office hours and at weekends, if so required.

17. - Do I need to sign a contract?


When you agree to outsource your project to us you will be required to sign a booking form. This contract details information regarding the tasks to be completed, the hourly rate and the expected time scale for completion. 19. - Do I need a virtual assistant if I already have admin employees?


There are many occasions when you will need extra assistance beyond your permanent PA. For example, when your PA is faced with extra work that they simply can not cope with alone. Maybe you have assigned your PA to a special project and have no-one to cover your normal admin work. Other examples include the times when you require work to be completed in the evenings or at weekends. Also when faced with emergencies such as when your PA is on sick leave, you will require dedicated cover and support.
